About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in bringing technical solutions to life, actively participating in the development, testing, and deployment of our infrastructure. Collaborating with your peers, you'll begin taking ownership of specific modules or functionalities while being mentored by more experienced engineers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field and 3+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience
Experience with C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, and front-end frameworks such as React and Angular
Experience with Big Data, Cloud, or Enterprise frameworks (e.g., Play, Spring Boot, Quarkus)
Experience building web-socket and RESTful APIs
Familiarity with software design and architecture patterns
Proficient with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes)
Hands‑on experience with modern data, cloud, and security ecosystems, including Spark, Kafka, Docker, Git/GitLab, Linux, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Suricata, Zeek, PostgreSQL, Neo4j, Terraform, Artifactory, and supporting agile development, SDLC processes, and cross-functional cyber operations
Obtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with Raft
Highly Preferred
Experience with SQL databases
Certifications: SAFe for Teams Certification, & AWS certifications (Associate Developer, & AWS Specialty Security within a year of start date) or be able to demonstrate AWS competence using the CLI and Boto.
Clearance Requirements
Active Secret security clearance

Onsite daily in Colorado Springs, CO
May require up to 15% travel
Salary Range
$135,000 - $150,000
