Job Responsibilities
Oversee a portfolio of graduate student dissertations utilizing various research methodologies
Conduct internal program assessments to ensure quality and effectiveness
Contribute to curriculum design and accreditation efforts for the Ph.D. in Cybersecurity program
Engage regularly with part‑time faculty and collaborate on programmatic strategies
Maintain and develop online doctoral‑level courses in cybersecurity while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards
Qualifications
Terminal degree in Cybersecurity or a master’s degree in cybersecurity with a doctorate in a related discipline
Evidence of research production, including peer‑reviewed journal publications and conference proceedings
Experience serving as a dissertation chair or as a member of a dissertation committee
Leadership or program management experience, preferably at the director level or higher
Background check required and willingness to travel for university events
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with ABET and WASC accreditation processes
Experience or potential to secure research or program grant funding
Experience in establishing and maintaining a cybersecurity research center
Active involvement in the cybersecurity community
Experience with National Security Agency Centers of Academic Excellence programs
