Georgetown University School of Law is seeking an Admissions Officer to support J.D. and graduate admissions. The role enhances recruitment, application processing, enrollment decision selection, waitlisting, scholarships, and admissions events and programs. Job Overview
The Admissions Officer supports all functions of J.D. and graduate admissions at the Georgetown University Law Center. Responsibilities include application processing, enrollment decision selection, waitlisting, scholarship management, interview program coordination, marketing material creation, social media updates, and report generation. The role communicates via print, email, and phone correspondence and evaluates data to advise parents and applicants about their educational plans. Work Interactions
Manages application material for waitlist candidates and runs waitlist statistics. Coordinates Dean of Admissions group interview program with firms and campuses across the country. Creates marketing materials, books space, and coordinates interviews. Tracks scholarship requests, pulls rosters, and identifies scholarship interests. Provides information and materials for self‑guided tours to prospective applicants and visitors. Updates social media sites and edits website content. Builds and runs reports as needed. Work Mode Designation
Hybrid, 3 days per week in office. Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. 3+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new technologies. Advanced administrative skills. Excellent time‑management and multitasking abilities. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Banner Student Information System and relevant CRM software. Pay Range
$20.16 – $31.30 (annually). Compensation is based on qualifications and experience. EEO Statement
