In This Role, You Will
Enlighten, Enable and Empower a fast-growing set of multi-disciplinary teams, across multiple applications and locations.
Tackle complex development, automation and business process problems.
Champion Cvent standards and best practices.
Ensure the scalability, performance, and resilience of our suite of products.
Work with the development and product team of a new application to establish the right monitoring and alerting strategy.
Develop build, test and deployment automation that seamlessly targets multiple on-premises and AWS regions.
Help a dev team working on a legacy code base to realize zero-down-time deployments.
Focus on automation of tasks and AI driven operational efficiency.
Here’s What You Need
Experience with SDLC methodologies (preferably Agile software development methodology).
Proficiency in automation scripting with Python and Bash; familiarity with Groovy, PowerShell, and Ruby/TypeScript.
Hands‑on AWS operations across EKS/ECS/EC2, CloudFront, API Gateway/ALB/NLP.
Infrastructure as code with AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
Experience with configuration management using Chef.
Hands‑on experience with Windows and Linux/Unix Administration.
Observability and logging using Datadog (APM, metrics, traces, synthetics, RUM) and Splunk.
Good understanding of containerization concepts - Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes.
Experience managing multi-tier application stacks and tuning for reliability, performance, and scalability.
Build and release tooling including Jenkins and Octopus Deploy.
Networking fundamentals: VPCs, subnets, security groups, and Route 53/DNS. F5 load balancing knowledge is a plus.
Staying current with AI advancements and reliability automation is required.
Hybrid: 2 days in office.
