Job Purpose Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs.
Responsibilities
Perform product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs.
Perform packaging line and manufacturing inspections, sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials.
Ensure raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards.
Apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated.
Assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations.
Minimize down time by reducing production rework and recalls.
Education & Experience
Experience with high volume PCBA manufacturing environment.
Familiar with IPC 610.
Able to identify component value.
Able to read ECO.
Follow manufacturing process instructions (MPIs).
Operate Automatic Optical Inspection machine.
Available for overtime and weekend work as required, minimum 40 hr/wk.
Read English and communicate well with others.
Assemble products or sub-assemblies according to written instructions or drawings.
Minimum 2 years experience as inspector.
