We are seeking key contributors to support the development and operations of the Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV), the next-generation lunar surface mobility system that will enable Artemis astronauts and commercial partners to explore the lunar surface.
We need
Lead Software Engineers
for multiple software engineering disciplines, including simulation, flight software, software assurance, software verification, and more.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of software engineers in the design and implementation of flight software based on defined systems requirements
Provide employee growth, team building, and mentoring for the organization
Utilize software engineering expertise in assessment of systems requirements and design
Support verification and testing of software
Integrate software solutions in a multi-disciplinary engineering team
Interface with hardware design and development teams
Establish working relationships with customer counterparts, subsystem requirement owners, and commercial teammates' key personnel
Provide technical expertise during major project milestones and project reviews
Perform all other assigned duties

Required Education/Experience/Skills:
BS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, from an accredited engineering school and fifteen (15) years of related engineering experience
OR
BS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, from an accredited engineering school and twenty (20) years of related engineering experience
Expertise in object-oriented software programming, such as C/C++
Experience with hardware/software integration
Experience leading integration with cross-discipline engineering teams
Excellent communication skills (in both written and verbal), integration, coordination and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with customers and stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
Knowledge of systems engineering practices associated with the definition, design, development, verification, implementation, testing, integration, and validation of complex systems
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
Master of Science degree in Engineering
Working experience with Human Space Exploration programs
CMMI certification
Experience with software architecture
Experience with root-cause analysis
Experience with software assurance
Experience with firmware development
Experience with agile development
Working experience with product lifecycle management software, JIRA or similar
Working experience with systems engineering tools, such as DOORs, MagicDraw, JAMA, or similar
Essential Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
