Job Description
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts through reconciliations and journal entries.
Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, accounts receivable aging reports, and cash flow statements.
Reconcile accounts payable accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Assist in sales and use tax reporting, ensuring compliance with state and local tax regulations.
Maintain and file business licenses and permits.
Prepare and review sales commission reports, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payments for sales representatives, including management of all required accruals.
Drive process and system enhancements to improve efficiency, ensure accuracy, optimize performance, and reduce costs.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
Accomplish organizational mission by completing related tasks and other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Expertise in revenue recognition, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
3+ years of operational accounting experience.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $48.00/hr.
