HOW BEING A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Our customer seeks an experienced Full Stack Java Developer capable of working with a software development team to provide enterprise system support. The role involves supporting O&M requirements and developing system enhancements on an AWS Platform using Agile methodologies.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Full stack O&M support for systems using Java, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript frameworks, Tomcat, and SQL
Leveraging AWS services and cloud technology for IT solutions
Front End Skills: JavaScript, Angular, JQuery, Typescript, React, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML, XML
Back End Skills: JVM (Java - Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate), Oracle Database, REST
Build Tools: git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, ANT
System scope and objectives formulation through research and fact-finding
Translating software requirements into maintainable solutions
Supporting the full software development lifecycle
Technical documentation support
Adherence to best practices in application development
Experience with Agile/Scrum processes
Team collaboration and performance improvement
Debugging and Tier 3 support
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
ServiceNow
Experience with DevOps platforms: AWS (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation)
CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub
Relational databases and ORM: PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL, JPA2, Hibernate
Web Services: SOAP, REST
Build tools: Maven, ANT
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
0+ years of experience
Hours: Core hours 9 am - 3 pm
Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
Location: Chantilly, VA (On Customer Site)
