Base pay range $105,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr
Dallas, TX - 4 days onsite/week
Vaco has partnered with a PE-backed distribution client to hire a Senior Analyst to support operational and company-wide long range planning and strategic projects/initiatives. The role will involve heavy Excel, building models from the ground up, dashboarding via Tableau, and working through large data sets to provide actionable analysis for internal customers.
This will be on a leaner team that rolls up directly to a fantastic CFO that we have worked with for many years - she is known for building a strong organizational culture and people love working with her. The company has doubled in size via acquisition and there are lots of promotional opportunities to build a career here.
Compensation: $105-115K + Bonus
Role
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, identifying key trends and variances.
Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment decisions, and scenario analysis.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Operations, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to provide financial support and insight.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare dashboards and reports for management review.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to evaluate business opportunities, risks, and performance improvement initiatives.
Assist with preparation of board presentations, investor materials, and executive reports.
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial analyses and reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, or CPA a plus.
2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools; experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Workday) preferred.
