Mechanical Assembler Job Purpose

Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub‑assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Nature of Duties / Responsibilities

Must apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Works on assignments that are semi‑routine in nature but recognizes occasional deviation from accepted practices. Normally follows established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only for new assignments. Must display ability to read, understand and follow manufacturing process instructions (MPIs) in English. Minimum of 4 years experience in a high‑volume assembly manufacturing environment. Must be able to do mechanical assembly. Education and Experience

Must be available for OT and weekend work as required in addition to minimum 40 hr/week. Must be able to read and understand English. Must have ability to assemble products or sub‑assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams. Must be able to properly use manufacturing equipment. Knowledge of basic electronics components. Able to identify Resistors, Capacitors, Transformers, Inductors, Components polarity. Able to hand‑load components into PCPA (prefer to have IPC 610). Has experience with quality control of SMT and PTH. EEO Statement

Salary Range (annual): $37,440 – $44,840. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
