User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Primary job duties/responsibilities:

Expertise in the Telco and Broadband connectivity domain.

A UAT engineer in the telecommunications sector must have specific knowledge of telco business processes and products, including:

Lead-to-Order (L2O): Managing customer leads, creating complex product bundles, generating quotes for telecommunications services, and automating order creation.

Order-to-Cash (O2C): Processing high volumes of customer orders, managing complex billing scenarios (like usage-based billing), credit checks, and ensuring accurate invoicing and revenue reconciliation.

System integration: The ability to test seamless data flow between various systems, such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and billing systems. Planning and test strategy

Create UAT plans: Develop a comprehensive UAT strategy, including test plans, test scenarios, and scripts for the L2O and O2C systems.

Define acceptance criteria: Work with business analysts and product owners to establish clear, user-focused acceptance criteria for new features or system changes.

Manage test data: Coordinate the setup and management of realistic test data to simulate customer interactions, orders, and payments.
