Position Overview
BA is hiring a highly experienced
Senior Marine Structural Engineer
to support the firm’s heavy marine‑related initiatives, with a focus on cruise and cargo structural engineering. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with deep expertise in marine structures and a strong technical background. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and analysis of complex marine infrastructure and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices. This position involves direct interaction with subconsultants, clients, and senior leadership to ensure technical excellence and alignment with strategic goals. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located. Project Types

Manage projects encompassing staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and deliverables. Lead engineering analysis and design for marine structures. Develop plans, specifications, and construction documentation. Develop technical reports and provide senior level review of technical work products. Prepare and review technical reports and engineering deliverables. Conduct condition assessments of port and maritime facilities. Contribute to proposal development, including technical approach, scope, and pricing. What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license and NCEES Record. Eligibility to apply for PE licensure in Florida and New York upon hire. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in marine structural engineering. Strong leadership, technical, and analytical capabilities. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in computer‑aided design and engineering software. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Self‑motivated and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment. Benefits You Will Love
