As part of HDR’s Building Engineering Services Group, you’ll help design critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. Your work will directly support technological advancement, sustainability, and human experience.
Responsibilities
Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, designs, contract documentation preparation, and graphic presentation
Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout, and drainage
Perform routine engineering assignments using standard techniques and procedures
Complete projects with clear objectives and limited variables
Perform administrative duties associated with project management of civil/site projects
Work independently on small projects or assist more‑senior engineers on larger projects
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; experience with civil engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation, Autodesk Infraworks, Civil 3D, or specialty platforms (e.g., Openflows)
Local candidates preferred
PE license – candidates without PE will be titled “Civil Site EIT”
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
Strong written and verbal communication skills
