X-Ray Technologist I – Diagnostic Radiology (Per Diem) (Evenings)

Base pay range:
$41.00/hr – $62.00/hr
Job responsibilities:
Perform radiographic procedures, both general and within designated specialties.
Assist the radiologist, cardiologist, and/or clinician during radiologic procedures, including invasive and non‑invasive studies.
Prepare the patient, explain the procedure, and ensure patient’s cooperation during the examination.
Operate X‑ray equipment, assess examinations for technical quality and completeness, and assist physicians during radiologic examinations.
Document patient care accurately for patient tracking, billing, and film management.
Additional Note:
This position requires flexibility to accommodate varying patient needs. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. On‑call responsibilities and mandatory overtime may also be necessary. Tentative Variable Schedule:
12:00 pm – 2:00 pm (start) to 10:30 pm – 12:30 am (end), including weekends.
Qualifications:
Post‑High School Vocational/Specialized Training in Radiologic Technology or equivalent. Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
New grads encouraged to apply; 1 year in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology preferred.
Graduate from an AMA approved school of Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
Certifications: CRT (Radiography and Fluoroscopy), ARRT, CPR.
