A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the complete school year at an elementary level within a K-12 school setting in Livermore, CA. This contract position involves working across multiple schools, providing essential speech and language services that support student development and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student performance and therapy sessions
Provide guidance and supervision to Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), including sharing certification information as required
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights toward student goals
Preferred Qualifications
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or current CFY status
Experience in school‑based speech‑language pathology services
Strong knowledge of and ability to apply educational regulations and practices
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families
Location
Multiple schools within the Livermore, CA area
