What You’ll Be Doing

Lead end‑to‑end data projects within complex client environments, delivering high‑quality Microsoft Cloud data solutions (Azure and/or Fabric).

Architect innovative, robust, and scalable solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure data services and/or the Microsoft Fabric platform to address modern data challenges.

Design and implement migrations from on‑premises or other cloud platforms to Microsoft Azure or consolidating into Microsoft Fabric.

Develop efficient data processing pipelines for large datasets using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, or within Microsoft Fabric (Fabric Data Factory Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Fabric Spark).

Automate complex data integrations across diverse systems using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Fabric Data Factory Pipelines, and related tools.

Model and implement data structures (relational, dimensional, Lakehouse medallion architecture) optimized for Azure data storage (Azure SQL DB, Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2/OneLake) or Fabric artifacts like the Lakehouse and Warehouse.

Design and build backend solutions within the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem to support analytics and visualization technologies, particularly Microsoft Power BI (standalone or integrated within Fabric).

What We Look For

Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Business Technology, Information Systems, etc.

3+ years of hands‑on experience with RDBMS, especially Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, or concepts within Fabric Warehouse/Lakehouse.

3+ years of relevant work experience focused on Microsoft Business Intelligence and/or Azure/Fabric Data Platforms in challenging enterprise environments.

Strong understanding of modern data‑modeling techniques and their application within Azure and Fabric environments (including Lakehouse concepts).

Deep experience architecting and implementing solutions using core Microsoft Azure data services and/or Microsoft Fabric components such as:

Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, DirectLake mode, etc.)

Azure Data Factory (ADF) and/or Fabric Data Factory Pipelines, Dataflows Gen 2

Azure Synapse Analytics (SQL Pools, Spark Pools) and/or Fabric Warehouse/Lakehouse/Spark/Azure Databricks

Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)/OneLake and Power BI (data modeling, DAX, reporting, integration with Fabric/Azure)

Proven ability to recommend best practices and develop innovative, sustainable solutions using the Microsoft data stack (Azure & Fabric).

Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Based in or willing to commute to the Bedminster, NJ office, with willingness and ability to travel to client sites throughout the NY, NJ, and PA area as needed.

Desired Skills & Experience

Hands‑on experience implementing end‑to‑end solutions using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, Spark, and Power BI integration).

Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.

Experience with Azure Analysis Services or Power BI Premium features for semantic modeling.

Familiarity with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) concepts and tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform in an Azure context.

Experience working within the Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, or Retail industries.

Entrepreneurial spirit, ambitious drive, proactive approach, detail‑oriented mindset, and strong collaborative skills.

Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) or data platforms like Snowflake is a plus.
