As an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send‑off. You will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare education as needed.

Schedule Works days from 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with on‑call requirements.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Educate patients and their families.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
One year of current acute‑care RN experience OR military RN experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Two to three years of nursing experience.
EKG knowledge.
Telemetry/ER/Stepdown/ICU experience.
Physical Requirements
Requires frequent walking from department to department, sitting at a workstation or desk, standing, and occasional pushing/pulling, lifting, and carrying objects up to 50 lbs.
Requires finger dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate a computer keyboard at a moderate skill level.
Mental demands: ability to work at a fast pace, prioritize multiple assignments, resolve conflicts, collaborate with department directors, physicians and other team members, ensure operational efficiency, problem‑solve, make decisions, exercise self‑control, and tolerate stress.
Personal Protective Equipment Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
