Position Openings – Quality Assurance Software Tester

Current Opportunity:
EPG is seeking a QA Software Tester for full‑time employment to join EPG’s Quality Assurance team. EPG offers a professional and collaborative work environment, opportunity to learn, have significant impact, and career advancement and growth.
Job Responsibilities
Test planning and creation:
Design and develop test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on project requirements.
Testing:
Execute tests using manual or automated methods to identify defects, inconsistencies, or performance issues. Execution of various tests including functional, regression, integration, performance, and stability testing.
Defect management:
Document and report any bugs or problems found, using a bug tracking system.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the QA, Software Development, and Engineering team members to discuss issues and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
Feedback and reporting:
Provide feedback on software usability and functionality to developers and stakeholders. Create and maintain detailed test reports.
Customer Acceptance Testing:
Lead and/or participate in customer acceptance testing (FAT/SAT/UAT) activities for Customer Software Deployments.
Documentation:
Maintain documentation of test procedures and a database of known defects.
Process improvement:
Participate in design reviews and help to establish quality standards.
Key Skills
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in manual and/or automated testing tools
Understanding of the software development lifecycle
Good communication and collaboration skills
Ability to multi‑task
Nice to Haves
Broad knowledge of software development practices and programming languages
Familiarity with SQL databases
Experience working with Agile software development processes
Familiarity with Azure DevOps tools
Prior experience implementing automation for WPF tools
