Job Summary We are seeking a
Senior Mechanical Engineer
with
5+ years of hands‑on experience
in mechanical design and product development. The role focuses on designing and validating complex mechanical systems using
CATIA
for 3D modeling and
ANSYS
(or equivalent FEA tools) for structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis. This is a technical leadership role suited for engineers who excel at solving complex design challenges, mentoring others, and delivering high‑quality, production‑ready solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
Drive designs from concept through production, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability of mechanical systems.
Apply expertise in materials, GD&T, and design for manufacturability.
Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions.
Work with automotive, aerospace, or high‑precision industries experience is highly desirable.
Qualifications
3D CAD design using CATIA (or equivalent).
FEA simulation and validation with ANSYS (structural, thermal, dynamic).
Mechanical system design and analysis.
GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
Materials selection and application.
Design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost optimization.
Prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.
Cross‑functional collaboration and technical leadership.
Minimum Requirements
M.S. degree with 3+ years of industry experience *or* B.S. degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Excellent teamwork, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
