The AI Strategic Advisor is a senior leader responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s AI vision, driving transformation across the enterprise, and delivering measurable business impact. This role partners with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to architect scalable, AI‑first solutions, foster responsible innovation, and position the organization as an industry leader in AI.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic AI Leadership & Transformation
Define and drive the enterprise AI strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
Lead the integration of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and advanced analytics into core business processes to enable sustainable transformation and competitive advantage.
Oversee the full lifecycle of AI initiatives, from ideation and prototyping to deployment and scaling.
Translate complex AI opportunities into actionable outcomes for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Industry & Domain Expertise
Demonstrate deep expertise in one or more sectors (e.g., BFSI, CPG/Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, High Tech).
Advise on sector‑specific challenges, regulatory requirements, and data ecosystems.
Leverage experience with market‑leading brands and global organizations.
Client Engagement & Advisory
Serve as a trusted advisor to C‑level executives and senior stakeholders on AI strategy and transformation.
Facilitate workshops, visioning sessions, and strategic planning to build consensus and secure leadership commitment.
Guide clients through AI adoption, change management, and capability building.
Technical Excellence & Solution Delivery
Lead technical teams in designing and delivering enterprise‑scale AI solutions (GenAI, LLMs, RAG, agentic frameworks, cloud platforms).
Ensure best practices in cloud, DevOps, MLOps, and data governance.
Oversee risk assessment, ethical AI deployment, and regulatory compliance.
Core Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.
15+ years in technology consulting, AI/ML strategy, or enterprise architecture (20+ years preferred for CXO‑level engagement).
Proven leadership in enterprise‑scale AI initiatives, including GenAI and agentic AI deployments.
Strong executive presence, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills.
Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and large‑scale client engagements.
Recognized contributions to open‑source projects, technical publications, or industry standards.
Compensation Expected compensation ranges from $180,000.00 to $270,000.00, varying by location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and experience. Role also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including medical and dental options, disability insurance, paid time off, and additional leave options.
