About The Role As the Regional Sales Manager, Federal Sales, you will position next‑generation endpoint security and articulate primary vendor strategies to senior customer executives within the Federal Civilian Community. You will present CrowdStrike’s product capabilities, match our strengths to clients’ needs, and help partners and clients defeat the adversary. The successful candidate has executive‑level contacts, is flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing situations, and is results‑driven, customer‑focused, technologically savvy and innovative at building internal relationships and external partnerships.

This position is remote and should reside in the Washington DC Metro Area. It will focus on the Veterans Affairs and NASA markets.

What You’ll Do

Deep knowledge of Federal Government Regulations and experience running a Federal/Civilian sales territory including pipeline development, territory planning, account planning and forecasting.

Establish access and maintain active relationships with key Federal/Civilian decision makers across all IT and senior executive levels to drive sales strategy and goal attainment.

Identify, develop and execute account strategies to close new business opportunities and expand revenue with customers across the assigned region.

Scope, negotiate and bring to closure agreements to exceed booking and revenue quota targets.

Target and access decision makers in key prospect accounts in the assigned territory.

Collaborate with colleagues across functions (Field Sales, Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services, Customer Support, Product Development) to create visibility with target accounts and drive engagement at both the individual contributor and executive level.

Work cooperatively with partners to leverage their established account presence and relationships.

Capture, maintain and disseminate accurate and relevant prospect information using Salesforce and MEDDPICC.

What You’ll Need

10+ years of solution selling experience with at least 3 years selling software security and/or infrastructure products within the Federal Government and Civilian Community.

Strong understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud and SaaS technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace.

Demonstrated history of exceeding booking and revenue targets with experience in target account selling, solution selling and/or consultative sales techniques.

Self‑starter with an ability to build executive relationships, articulate CrowdStrike’s product and business strategies, and create demand that drives deals.

Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems and ability to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to analyze complex multivariate problems using a systematic approach.

Recognized experience developing relationships with senior executives.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Strong time‑management, organizational and decision‑making skills.

Remote work capability and willingness to travel on short notice.

Self‑motivated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Drive to succeed and participate in the growth of an exciting, fast‑paced organization.

BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation and Benefits Base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $130,000 – $175,000 per year, with eligibility for commissions, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k) and paid time off.
