Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager
A growing advanced manufacturing company is seeking a hands‑on Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, materials planning, and vendor management across U.S. and international operations. Key Responsibilities
Oversee purchasing and materials planning to ensure timely, cost‑effective supply of raw materials, electronics components, and production parts.
Lead and develop a small team of buyers/planners.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and finance to support production schedules and product launches.
Manage and negotiate with suppliers; strengthen vendor performance and contract terms.
Improve ERP/MRP usage (NetSuite preferred) to enhance planning accuracy and visibility.
Drive cost‑savings, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement across U.S. and U.K. sites.
Support new product introductions with smooth material readiness and transitions.
Qualifications
5+ years in purchasing, procurement, or materials management within manufacturing;
electronics components sourcing experience strongly preferred .
2+ years leading or supervising a small team.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and systems‑improvement skills.
