Job Description This position will be embedded with the Subscriber Forecasting team, part of Peacock’s Advanced Content Analytics department. Peacock’s Subscriber Forecasting team develops short‑term and long‑term views on growth of the Peacock subscriber base, leveraging first and third‑party data to discern trends in signups, churn, consumption, and other growth metrics. We work with a broad set of stakeholders across the company to provide insights on the success of growth initiatives and develop long‑term growth strategy for both subscribers and revenue. As the needs of the business have evolved, our team needs to perform more detailed analysis of growth metrics at a content level. This includes, but is not limited to, analysis of paid adds, churn trends, and engagement trends with an emphasis on the content preferences of relevant cohorts. This role will also generate forecast outputs and operate business forecasting models on an as‑needed basis and will be responsible for understanding the scope of the team in its entirety.
Responsibilities
Become an expert on Peacock’s first‑party growth metrics data and existing data infrastructure underlying it
Write SQL queries to generate first‑party data sets that are tailor‑made for feeding an Excel‑based forecasting model
Develop subscriber forecast model aligned to existing forecasting models, but focused on cohorting subscribers by content viewership dimensions
Enrich engagement forecasting by fusing legacy subscriber forecasting models with new content‑focused modeling, with goal of providing more actionable insights to operational teams seeking to improve engagement and UX
Interface with existing stakeholders of subscriber model to understand their needs and build model outputs and visualizations tailor‑made to those needs
Work with teammates on Forecasting team to answer ad‑hoc questions from stakeholders and put together ad‑hoc analyses using both the existing model and the re‑vamped model as a data input
Iterate on content forecasting model as needed based on continuously evolving stakeholder needs
Help contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture at Peacock
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant quantitative field (e.g. Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or other)
4+ years of financial modeling experience working with large, complex data sets
2+ years of experience working at a subscription business analyzing subscriber data sets
Familiarity with subscription business KPIs and metrics (TV & streaming subscription metrics is a plus)
Strong proficiency in both SQL and Excel
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
Proficient in maintaining meticulous records, documenting procedures, and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work, reflecting exceptional attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in Tableau or an equivalent data‑visualization tool is a plus
Experience with statistical modeling and/or advanced data science techniques is a plus
Additional Requirements
Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in‑office requirements at any time.
