JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer with ultra-refined style to join, lead, and bring their energy to our creative services team!
This role is primarily responsible for leading design projects from conception to the final stage, including brainstorming creative concepts to help translate the client’s vision. Projects include brand development, websites, video animation, print design, social media content, and email marketing campaigns.
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for producing and project managing, and assigns tasks and collaborates with production team members in delivering quality work. This role is responsible for providing creative feedback and ensuring proper management of production workflow on all design projects.
The Senior Graphic Designer will also be in close communication with the marketing team, to help inform campaign creative and collaborate on brand strategy.
Finally, the Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for helping to work with clients to explore their vision and pitch creative ideas with great enthusiasm. This individual must have a deep understanding of how the client’s culture, offering, value proposition, audience, market, etc. are all woven into a compelling visual strategy.
The person who fills this role is a positive team player who loves collaboration and all-things information design.
RESPONSIBILITIES Working for a creative agency is fun, rewarding, and exciting. Here’s what to expect from the day-to-day within this role:
Work directly with creative services team, creative director, and production manager
Provide creative or art direction to help shape big-picture project vision
Graphic design of graphics, advertisements, campaigns, or any other print or digital asset
High-level brand development, including visual identity design
Ensure brand continuity across all content, from websites to social media channels and videos, and updating legacy content to meet new content standards
Maintain project deadlines and content launch dates
Support website content management
Stay up-to-date with current trends, design tools and technologies.
Coordinate with marketing team to support marketing and advertising campaign needs
QUALIFICATIONS We’re looking for an individual who is creative and passionate about using their talents for good. Here are some other qualifications necessary for someone to thrive in this role:
Exceptional and highly-refined design skills, including the ability to deliver creative and captivating content to diverse audiences
Brand development and visual identity design experience
Experience with variety of popular marketing tools, including social, email, and Wordpress CMS
Ability to project manage and/or work directly with clients
Comfortable working across multiple brand accounts at once in agency environment
Animation or video experience a plus
Confidence and excitement in your creative ideas
Great communication and extreme attention to detail
6+ years experience in design or creative
BA in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field

DETAILS
$30-40 per hour - Contract, potential to full-time hire
10-20 hours per week
Partially-remote, reporting to Hartford office as needed
