Arm Overview
Arm is leading the vision to unlock a broad ecosystem of silicon required for AI, data centers, mobile, compute and IoT. As a member of Solution Engineering, you will be joining a team developing CAD solutions to develop tools flows for end‑to‑end convergence. Work with front‑end and physical implementation SoC and core design teams on design architecture, interfaces, timing and power requirements for power/MHz efficiency. Major focus on solutions scalability across advanced technology nodes and PPA trade‑offs. The position requires delivering solutions for both internal and third‑party IP integration and gives an opportunity for leading product‑level implementation.
Responsibilities
CAD software development on Genus/Innovus for delivering solutions at scale with the highest quality and system efficiency.
Explore the latest trends in technology, algorithms, EDA automation and analytics.
Develop strategy and roll‑out for EDA tools roadmap and features.
Analyze requirements, define and develop CAD solutions including external EDA tools integration.
Lead a product implementation, working closely with internal design teams, foundry and partners.
Required Skills and Experience
Strong experience and deep understanding of timing, power, and physical design.
Outstanding expertise in EDA tool‑flows (Genus, Innovus) and designing solutions.
Experience with architecting and developing VLSI CAD software and automation.
Proficiency in Python, C, Tcl with version control (git), distributed processing, and disk management.
Ability to work with evolving problem statements and solutions; excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
Nice to Have Skills and Experience Experience with multi‑die SoC design flows. Experience with data analytics, dashboards and metrics desired.
Salary Range $191,100 – $258,500 per year.
