Digital Solutions Engineer
Information Technology Services is seeking a technically proficient and solutions-oriented individual to fill the role of Digital Solutions Engineer. This role serves as the technical implementation specialist within the Digital Solutions and Global Client Experience team, working in close partnership with Digital Solutions Consultants to bring digital transformation initiatives to life.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and implement technical solutions based on requirements gathered by Digital Solutions Consultants.
Transform client business needs into functional solutions using the university's technology stack.
Configure, integrate, and customize digital productivity tools and platforms to meet specific business requirements.
Provide technical guidance on solution feasibility and collaborate with consultants to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and improve digital experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, handle unexpected challenges, and contribute to initiatives that support business growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced technical proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, To Do, Forms, Outlook).
Strong expertise with Microsoft 365 Power Suite (PowerAutomate, PowerBI, PowerApps) and ability to build custom solutions.
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Experience building, testing, and implementing digital solutions in a professional environment.
Strong problem‑solving skills and analytical thinking.
Excellent attention to detail and quality control mindset.
Ability to document technical solutions clearly for knowledge transfer.
Experience working collaboratively with business analysts or consultants.
Strong understanding of information security best practices.
Ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education or similar complex organizational environment.
Familiarity with audiovisual technologies, particularly Microsoft Teams Room Systems.
Knowledge of API integration techniques.
Experience with ServiceNow platform configuration.
Scrum/Agile project experience.
ITIL v4 or higher certification.
Other Details
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite).
Duration: 6 months with possible extension.
Full-time; Mid‑Senior level.
