Note You must be licensed to practice law in California or Washington, or licensed elsewhere and pending admission to the California or Washington Bar. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of civil litigation experience, including discovery, motion practice, oral advocacy, and depositions, and can work on-site full-time in Seattle with occasional travel.

Job Description
Serve as a senior associate handling a docket of wage-and-hour, employment, and consumer class and representative actions in Washington and California state and federal courts
Lead and manage all phases of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation
Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions, oppositions, and complex briefs in state and federal courts
Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts, and prepare clients and witnesses for testimony
Conduct sophisticated legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law and provide clear, strategic analyses to the team and clients
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to manage class cases, representative actions, and high-volume litigation efficiently
CommMicate regularly with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel, and represent clients in hearings, conferences, and settlement negotiations
Mentor junior attorneys and support staff, contributing to the training and development of the Seattle office
Qualifications
Licensed to practice law in California or Washington, or licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and pending admission to the California or Washington Bar
3–5+ years of civil litigation experience, with substantial experience in discovery, motion practice, oral advocacy, and taking/defending depositions
Prior experience with class actions, complex litigation, or wage-and-hour/ employment cases is strongly preferred
Strong written advocacy skills with a track record of drafting high-quality motions, briefs, and discovery
Confident in court, at depositions, and in negotiations, with excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
Ability to manage a busy litigation docket, strict deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment
Professional, steady, and reliable work history, with mature judgment and client-facing skills
Willingness to travel occasionally for hearings, depositions, and case-related needs
