Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet and exceed customer needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
Master’s degree in the same fields and 5+ years of related work experience.
PhD in the same fields and 4+ years of related work experience.
Responsibilities
Responsible for pre‑silicon performance analysis and closure on state‑of‑the‑art GPU design using trending graphics/compute/AI benchmarks.
Work closely with design/architecture/model teams on GPU pipeline bottleneck analysis and propose hardware/software optimizations to improve PPA.
Contribute to pre‑silicon execution with additional benchmark functional coverage.
Virtual GPU bring‑up using hardware‑accelerated emulation system to enable other software/hardware teams on pre‑silicon functional execution.
Analyze performance and architectural bottlenecks in GPU designs.
Work with GPU Design and Architecture Teams to understand concepts and performance bottlenecks.
Implement data analytics using Python.
Perform HW‑SW co‑verification, simulation, simulation‑acceleration, emulation, benchmark analysis, and big‑data analytics – tools used daily in our verification toolbox.
Skills And Experience We Would Love To See
GPU pipeline, SystemVerilog, Python, C/C++ skills required.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with GPU Architectures and pipeline analysis.
RTL design experience and/or strong SoC architecture background.
Experience with Simulation Acceleration and Emulation.
Experience working with System Level Architecture Teams to understand performance requirements and bottlenecks.
Experience with SW and HW design partitioning.
Experience analyzing performance issues in Software and Hardware.
Data analysis using Python and data visualization.
Pay Range and Other Compensation & Benefits $195,200.00 – $292,800.00. This pay scale reflects the broad range for the location posted. Salary is one component of total compensation; we also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program, potential RSU grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
