Job Summary Supermicro is seeking a Staff Network Validation Engineer to perform manual testing and create automation for web‑based applications on switches, SCM, SCC, ethernet cards, infiniband switch and HBAs validations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Testing front‑end GUI.

Create and maintain automation for front‑end applications.

Conduct functionality testing, compatibility testing, performance testing, stress and reliability testing.

Report hardware and software quality issues into bug tracking systems.

Document and analyze test data.

Maintain and improve validation test plans and test instructions.

Contribute to the development of test utilities and test script automation.

Support internal and external quality issues and drive to issue resolution.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 12+ years of working knowledge in hardware/networking field.

Experienced in front‑end web‑based testing, Selenium, Cypress, PlayWright, or similar tools.

Familiar with Rest API, Postman, curl.

Knowledge of computer networking, SONiC, TCP/IP, L2/L3, SDN, and InfiniBand.

Familiar with Linux, Windows, and networking.

Strong in Python and Bash scripting.

PowerShell scripting is a plus.

Strong sense of teamwork, strong communication skills.

Knowledge and experience of server performance benchmarks and tuning.

Salary Range $160,000 - $180,000. The salary offered will depend on location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
