Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Enterprise Analyst to support Compensation, Talent & Performance for Workday Systems. This role involves managing and optimizing Workday compensation processes, ensuring efficient operation and continuous improvement of the Workday Advanced Compensation System and the Workday Talent & Performance modules. The ideal candidate will leverage their Workday expertise to meet employee and business needs, collaborating closely with stakeholders such as HR Ops, Compensation, Performance, Benefits, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business units and ensure every business decision is seen from the lens of our customer.
Collaborate with partner business units to reimagine how we can deliver the best processes possible using people, process, data, and technology.
Act as a subject matter expert for designated partner business units, attending meetings, documenting workflows, and serving as a trusted advisor.
Act as subject matter expert (SME) for partner business units.
Develop business requirements and analyze data to improve processes.
Establish and maintain a three‑year business and technology solution roadmap.
Conduct business process gap analysis for digitalization and automation.
Serve as a “trusted advisor” to the BU and functions as a key point of contact for BU & DBT stakeholders.
Utilize business analysis techniques and business cases to define high‑level product features and desired service levels for existing and emerging IT offerings.
Focus on business value to develop ideas, including digital awareness, risk assessments, business continuity and capability requirements.
Foster creativity and innovation by staying abreast of industry and technology trends.
Analyze business requirements and prepare detailed specifications for program development.
Define business requirements for designated business units.
Configure and manage Workday Talent and Performance modules (performance reviews, talent reviews, calibration, career development plans, and succession planning).
Ensure modules are configured efficiently, updated regularly, and troubleshoot related issues.
Work closely with HRIS analysts, business partners, and functional HR teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with organizational goals.
Hands‑on expertise to launch Annual Merit, Bonus, Mid‑year and Annual performance review cycles.
Write requirements to obtain data from enterprise data teams and analyze data sets for trends or insights.
Contribute to key requirements, design, and review sessions; identify business‑based risk.
Communicate with leadership to evaluate joint initiatives and proposals for alignment with roadmaps.
Demonstrate system (e.g. Workday) capability to solve business problems.
Gather requirements, be accountable for feasibility and solution delivery; define and approve changes to high‑level requirements.
Participate in system implementation, testing, and upgrade deployment to ensure smooth transitions.
Identify opportunities for system enhancements and propose solutions to optimize compensation processes, drive automation, and improve user experience.
Perform tenant configuration, data loads (EIBs), sandbox environments; define, document, and enforce system standards.
Anticipate bottlenecks and provide escalation management.
Analyze end‑to‑end, moderate to high complexity business processes across functional areas.
Collaborate with peers and project managers.
Transfer knowledge on proposed solutions and BU needs to leadership and peers.
Ensure common processes and technology strategy across departments where applicable.
Manage enhancement requests post‑implementation on an established release schedule.
Assist in prioritizing technology projects, ensuring alignment with maximum ROI.
Partner with PMO and manage cross‑functional projects focusing on integration, implementation, and adoption.
Develop and execute strategic plans, leveraging tracking mechanisms and reporting to board and executive management.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and Workday technologies.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
12‑15 years of BRM/BA experience with multiple SaaS and Cloud Systems.
In‑depth knowledge of Workday HRIS modules (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, etc.).
Proven experience as a Sr. Business Analyst implementing and managing Workday Core and Advanced Compensation workstreams and Talent and Performance modules.
Hands‑on expertise in launching Annual Merit, Bonus, and Mid‑year performance review cycles.
Proficiency with Workday Report Writer and advanced reporting techniques.
Understanding of HRIS security concepts and data privacy best practices.
Single point of contact for supporting existing production issues and managing SLAs.
Experience writing module design documents and test cases.
Experience with system integrations and data migration projects is a plus.
Strong knowledge of interfaces, workflow, and underlying database tables.
Excellent communication skills: oral presentations, writing, negotiation, active listening, influencing.
Ability to work in a multi‑project environment and support multiple internal customers/departments.

Salary Range for This Role $136,807 - $194,040.
