About the Role Litmus is seeking an experienced and driven Industrial Manager to lead our industrial operations and customer integration initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of industrial automation, IT/OT convergence, and next‑generation data platforms. As Industrial Manager, you will oversee end‑to‑end driver development from legacy to modern industrial systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead development of industrial connectivity for various legacy and modern protocols.
Manage cross‑functional teams including engineers, solution architects, and project managers to deliver industrial implementations on time and within scope.
Develop strategies for connectivity with PLCs, DCS, CNCs, SCADA, MES, ERP, historians, and cloud platforms.
Drive standardization in industrial integration using protocols such as OPC UA, Foundation Fieldbus, Modbus RTU, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, and other common IIoT standards.
Establish governance frameworks for quality, security, and compliance across OT layers.
Collaborate with product teams to identify industrial use cases, provide feedback on customer requirements, and influence product roadmap.
Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners, ensuring adoption and success of deployed solutions.
Monitor project KPIs and continuously optimize processes for scalability and efficiency.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and career development for the industrial integration team.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, automation, or a related technical field.
8+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or IIoT integration.
Proven experience managing industrial integration projects involving OT protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, EtherNet/IP, Profinet, etc.).
Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems (PLC, SCADA, MES, ERP) and industrial networking (TCP/IP, fieldbuses, deterministic Ethernet).
Familiarity with edge computing, data pipelines, and hybrid cloud architectures.
Demonstrated leadership in managing cross‑functional technical teams and delivering large‑scale industrial projects.
Excellent problem‑solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
Experience implementing Unified Namespace (UNS) or enterprise‑wide industrial data strategies.
Exposure to data visualization, analytics platforms, or machine learning in industrial contexts.
Salary range is commensurate with qualifications, location, and other factors. The range for this position is $100,000–$140,000.
