About the Position Our Senior Consultant mentors, develops, and coaches team members while shaping and leading projects, building client relationships, and contributing to business development in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Specific responsibilities include:

Guide project work through creative and diligent planning, crafting approaches, assigning roles, monitoring success, managing risks, and discussing needs and options with clients.

Design, develop, and produce high‑quality deliverables using proven methodologies and frameworks.

Lead data‑gathering efforts (interviews, surveys, quantitative and qualitative analysis) and stakeholder engagement activities.

Facilitate and manage client strategy sessions and operational review meetings.

Conduct analyses and write concise reports that synthesize outputs of major interactions.

Serve as lead subject matter expert during proposal development, including writing content and advising on approaches.

Build relationships with clients and stakeholders to support project outcomes and identify follow‑on or new work opportunities.

Identify future client needs beyond current project outcomes and develop approaches for securing additional work.

Required Qualifications

U.S. citizen; able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI.

6+ years of relevant experience, including management consulting.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong meeting design and facilitation skills.

Proven experience developing project approaches, designing critical paths, and defining and measuring success criteria.

Willingness to commute to client locations full time (5 days a week) around the Washington Metropolitan area; occasional travel beyond the area.

Preferred Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Consulting‑related education or certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci).

Experience working within or supporting the Defense Security Enterprise and its policies and frameworks.

Strong relationship‑management skills with diverse stakeholders.

Business development experience, including proposal support and client relationship cultivation.

Salary Range The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 – $150,000. Salary is determined by qualifications, skills, experience, security clearances, certifications, and business needs.
