Confidential Executive Assistant
to provide administrative and operational support to members of senior leadership within OGC. This pivotal role requires an initiative-taking individual with a strong background in administration, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and tracking deadlines. Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, memoranda, and other legal or administrative documents. Coordinate internal and external communications, including those requiring discretion and confidentiality. Assist in the organization of meetings, trainings, and events, preparing agendas, meeting materials, and minutes. Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems consistent with University policies and confidentiality requirements. Track project timelines, monitor deliverables, and support office workflows. Liaise with staff across the University’s Central Office and constituent schools to support effective flow of information and timely responses. Provide administrative coverage and collaborate with other OGC staff to ensure continuity of operations. Handle sensitive and privileged information with professionalism and discretion. Perform related duties and special projects as assigned. Notes
Position eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Position excluded from union representation. Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor's degree and six years’ related experience required. Preferred: Exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication, public presentation, interpersonal, and follow-through skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a time-sensitive office. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and remote meeting platforms, and ability to learn new systems. Demonstrated judgment, character, and integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information with accuracy and discretion. Experience in a legal, university, corporate, government, or nonprofit setting. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proactive, flexible, and able to exercise discretion, sound judgment, and make decisions. Strong organizational skills, ability to manage a large, varied workload, follow up and complete work by prescribed deadlines. Ability to produce results individually and as a team member, collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Commitment to public service, service excellence, inclusion, equity, and professional integrity. Represents the Executive's unit in campus-wide activities and committees. Independently carries out a portfolio of responsibilities under the Executive’s purview. Exempt Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $109,898 – $118,070, commensurate with credentials, education, and experience. Benefits include health plans, retirement/pension benefits, tuition waivers for graduate study, paid time off, and access to university academic, arts, and athletic programs. How to Apply
