The Role Join us as a Waterworks Sales Consultant in our RH Newport Beach Gallery. You’ll serve as the go‑to expert for Waterworks products, partnering with the RH team to drive sales and deliver an exceptional client experience. Responsibilities include providing in‑gallery support, sharing product knowledge, and engaging in proactive outreach to trade professionals—architects, designers, contractors, plumbers—to build demand for Waterworks in the region. You’ll collaborate with gallery leaders to strengthen sales confidence and guide clients through selection.

When not in the gallery, the Consultant will market to trade clients, support RH and Waterworks pipelines, and occasionally sell select categories not in the RH assortment (e.g., custom cabinetry, tile). The role requires schedule flexibility, including evenings and weekends, and occasional travel to nearby RH galleries.

Sales Consultants model leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and customer‑centric service, aligning with Waterworks brand values.

Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional luxury client experience, reinforcing Waterworks and RH brand values.

Meet or exceed goals related to lead generation, opportunity development, quotes, and orders.

Provide consistent reporting on outreach activity, pipeline status, and market insights.

Contribute to initiatives that strengthen the Waterworks × RH partnership and support gallery success.

Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling (nights, weekends) and willingness to travel to nearby galleries, showrooms, and the Waterworks office.

Other duties and accountabilities as assigned.

RH Gallery Support & Selling

Partner with RH Gallery leaders and associates to strengthen their ability to sell the Waterworks assortment available on the RH platform.

Collaborate with the RH team to identify opportunities for Waterworks solutions beyond the RH assortment and support the client connection as needed.

Serve as the in‑gallery Waterworks product expert—supporting consultations, educating the team, and increasing selling confidence.

Maintain Waterworks visual and brand presentation standards within the RH gallery.

Market Development & Trade Outreach

Establish and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and plumbers across the Newport Beach/Orange County region to generate demand.

Present the Waterworks product portfolio to generate interest, secure specifications, and create demand for both RH and Waterworks.

Participate in industry events, CEUs, networking opportunities, and project site meetings to build visibility and drive new opportunities.

Requirements

3+ years of sales, business development, or client‑facing experience, ideally within luxury home, design, cabinetry, plumbing, tile, or related categories.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills with the ability to support both clients and trade professionals.

Experience with architects, designers, builders, or trades professionals strongly preferred.

Digitally proficient; comfortable with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and related sales tools.

Highly organized, self‑driven, and capable of managing multiple client projects simultaneously.

Passion for design, craftsmanship, and the Waterworks brand.
