Job Description If you have automotive technician experience and want to troubleshoot tough vehicle cases, this role involves local travel to dealerships, supporting technicians, and ensuring first‑time repair quality.
What We Are Looking For
ASE certified (current or past) technician.
Enjoy solving complex vehicle issues.
Known as "the person who can fix anything automotive related."
Seeking better work‑life balance with no weekend work.
Key Tasks
Assess and resolve technical escalations.
Provide online and in‑dealership technical assistance.
Lead discussions and act as subject‑matter expert.
Manage recall requirements and ensure Required Service Updates (RSU) are completed, reducing buybacks.
Serve as quality feedback liaison.
Consult dealers on repair order documentation, service agreements, and inspections.
Improve customer experience and increase "fixed first visit" cases.
Analyze and suggest repair‑shop process improvements and proactive business planning focused on customer experience.
What We Have To Offer
Full‑time position with benefits effective the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
Hybrid work environment: 3 days field work with local travel and 2 days work‑from‑home per week on average, little to no weekend work.
Monthly paid car allowance.
Paid standard US holidays and paid vacation time.

Qualifications
Minimum 2–4 years automotive experience; current ASE certification preferred.
Field‑related management experience preferred.
Must have dealership experience.
Ideal experience: Assistant Manager, Shop Foreman.
Highly motivated, adaptive, autonomous, and results‑oriented.
Ability to travel locally to dealerships within a designated area.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint; ability to create dashboards and report templates.
Strong communication of technical information to all levels.
Self‑directed and able to manage a progressive workload in a fast‑paced environment.
Compensation Wage range: $80 k – $100 k based on experience, skill set, and other factors.
