Technology – Data Management EY’s Analytics and Data team seeks a Senior Data Management professional to define and drive data management strategy and technology implementation. This role requires a professional who can guide clients through the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies.
Your Key Responsibilities
Design and implement data governance frameworks that align with business objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to build analytics solutions that deliver tangible business value.
Conduct maturity assessments to enhance data management capabilities across the organization.
Develop solutions to complex problems, including functional and technical design of master data management software.
Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Guide clients in defining a data governance strategy, including data quality, data catalog, master data management, analytics use cases, AI/ML readiness, and system alignment to leading ERP and CRM applications.
Implement cutting‑edge data quality tools and processes to maintain impeccable data standards.
Engage in thorough requirement gathering, interpret business requirement documents, and collaborate with system analysts to develop comprehensive source‑to‑target mappings.
Conduct detailed examinations of data within source databases prior to migration into data warehouses and generate aligned technical specifications.
Lead multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Travel regularly to meet with external clients as necessary.
Skills And Attributes For Success
Strong understanding of data privacy and governance principles.
Enterprise strategy and data management experience.
Proficiency in metadata management and ontology design.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Demonstrated emotional agility and ability to collaborate in hybrid environments.
Knowledge of industry trends and the ability to articulate them to customers.
Benchmark design, development, and delivery knowledge.
Working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
Leadership and communication skills to drive business outcomes.
Research skill to provide insights on industry standards, regulations, technology assessments, and forecasts.
Expertise in data privacy and master data management.
Strong understanding of data governance and enterprise strategy.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or a related technical or scientific field.
Minimum 3 years of direct involvement with MDM tools including SAP MDG and/or Informatica MDM.
ERP implementation experience, including full implementation cycles of SAP with MDG.
At least 3 years of relevant developer experience in master data management software.
Strong understanding of data governance principles.
Experience with enterprise IT architecture.
Valid driver’s license in the US and willingness to travel internationally.
Track record of successful stakeholder engagement.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience with complex problem‑solving and critical thinking.
Track record of driving outcomes in collaborative environments.
Familiarity with digital fluency and hybrid collaboration tools.
Passion for innovation and strategic application of emerging technologies.
