This hybrid role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact legal work across consumer financial products, banking regulations, corporate transactions, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in consumer lending, excels in cross‑functional collaboration, and demonstrates a proactive, business‑oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Stay informed about banking regulations, laws, and industry standards
Draft and review related legal agreements on existing and new financial products
Advise internal stakeholders on relevant legal matters relating to the company’s financial products
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product, technology, marketing) to support the launch of new financial products
Collaborate with outside counsel on litigation matters when necessary
Work with a team of attorneys
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing.
5-10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
Deep understanding of banking regulations and compliance frameworks.
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.
