Base Pay Range $160,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr

Position Details FTE - Direct hire | Comp: 160 -190k

Qualifications

PhD, MD, or equivalent degree in a scientific discipline relevant to proteomics (e.g., biochemistry, chemistry, biology, pharmacology, clinical sciences), or comparable professional expertise.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO environments, with deep focus on proteomics-driven mass spectrometry applications.

More than 10 years of leadership experience overseeing scientific teams, complex research programs, and client deliverables.

Direct experience managing external collaborations or client projects, with responsibility for scoping, timelines, budgets, and communication of results.

Extensive hands‑on expertise with proteomics workflows, including sample preparation, LC‑MS/MS operation, and computational data analysis.

Proven track record leading large‑scale proteomics studies, applying quantitative mass spectrometry to biological and clinical research questions.

Key Skills & Attributes

Strong client‑facing presence: able to translate technical proteomics data into clear, actionable insights for external partners and sponsors.

Experienced in project management: adept at balancing timelines, deliverables, and resources across multiple concurrent CRO projects.

Strategic communicator, capable of tailoring scientific content to clients, collaborators, and internal stakeholders.

Highly organized, ensuring efficient execution and delivery of complex proteomics studies in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.

Advanced analytical skills to interpret large datasets, integrate with biological context, and present conclusions confidently.

Collaborative leader comfortable guiding multidisciplinary teams including mass spectrometrists, computational scientists, clinicians, and biologists.

Maintains meticulous attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy, reproducibility, and compliance with sponsor and regulatory expectations.

Committed to scientific excellence and continuous learning, staying at the forefront of proteomics innovation and precision medicine applications.

Skilled mentor and scientific leader, fostering growth of junior scientists and building strong internal expertise.
