Humanities Teacher Responsibilities: Teach 2 blocks (4 periods) of Humanities 9 World Cultures/Ethnic Studies, including but not limited to:
Collaborating with the Humanities 9 team to plan curriculum
Assessing and giving feedback on student work
Submitting grades for students
Communicating with families
Qualifications:
Commitment to Gateway's mission, including a desire to work with a diverse student body
Preferred: Current California single subject credential in English Language Arts or social science
Bilingual and BIPOC candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Compensation Range: Commensurate with experience and FTE level. Credentialed teacher full‑time salary scale is $85,000 – $110,000.
