Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Senior Technical Orders Manager to support the AFLCMC Presidential and Executive and Airlift Directorate (AFLCMC/WV) located at Wright‑Patterson AFB, OH.

This position supports the VC‑25B program office and focuses on managing the technical content and format of flight manual publications, requiring knowledge of AFI 11‑215, AFT 00‑5‑3, and DAFI 63‑101/20‑101 as a Flight Manual Manager within a Flight Manual Program with TOMA responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Perform technical data management and analyses; write reports, recommend actions, and support logisticians in acquiring, storing, and managing recorded information needed to translate system and equipment design requirements into discrete engineering and logistics considerations, and manage a TO/Technical Data Library.

Prepare data management plans, TO verification plans, and TO management plans.

Assist in identifying engineering data requirements and data rights claims.

Review, track, and monitor verification and delivery of engineering/technical data; identify requirements for applicable technical manuals.

Review and analyze deficiency reports (DRs) and assist in conducting root cause analyses of S‑1000D technical data to identify problems and areas for improvement, addressing product support elements such as computer resources, design interface, facilities, maintenance planning, manpower, packaging, storage and transportation, supply support, support equipment, system engineering, technical data management, and training.

Provide support to accomplish the review and generation of logistics support documentation, including Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical Manuals/Orders (TM/TO), Logistics Assessments, and Work/System Specifications.

Participate in integrated product support management team meetings, program management reviews, and other related meetings.

Assist in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts.

Support the program office through Materiel Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation & Risk Reduction, Engineering & Manufacturing Development, Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support phases.

Apply logistics knowledge to perform tasks related to planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy.

Develop, modify, prepare and/or validate documentation related to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems and management information systems.

Managing the technical content and format of assigned flight manual publications.

Issuing ITOs/RACs affecting the assigned weapon system/commodity.

Ensuring new or modified flight manual data is verified promptly to prevent flight crew operations without proper flight manual data in accordance with AFI DAFI 63‑101/20‑101.

Qualifications

High School diploma and 13 years relevant experience, or

Bachelor’s degree with nine years of relevant experience, or

Master’s degree with seven years of relevant experience, or

Doctorate with four years of relevant experience.

Active SECRET clearance.
