Our client is one of the hedge funds globally, and we are hiring for a Java Developer to be based in the New York office. The ideal Java Developer will have proven experience building and maintaining high-performance, low-latency trading applications that support the trading desks.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain execution and order management systems using Java.
Optimize application performance for low-latency and high-throughput trading environments.
Integrate with market data feeds, FIX gateways, and internal pricing engines.
Ensure system reliability and scalability through robust testing and monitoring.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning in Java.
Professional experience in Java development, preferably in the financial industry
Familiarity with trading system architecture, including execution engines, OMS, and market data handlers.
