About This Role We are looking for an entry-level candidate who can positively impact the lives of children and their families. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work directly with individuals receiving ABA therapy and will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to ensure effective delivery of ABA programming. The role includes working with clients to improve communication, social, and daily living skills across center and community settings. Collaboration with a team of RBTs, BCBAs, and BCaBAs will be essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
Complete a 40‑hour RBT training course (paid) and pass the BACB RBT exam within 30 days of employment.
Complete CPR training (paid) within 30 days of hire.
Work 1:1 with BASS clients receiving ABA therapy.
Conduct electronic data collection related to programming developed by the BCBA.
Complete daily notes after each session and upload them into the relevant databases.
Maintain open communication with the BCBA regarding client progress.
Provide ABA therapy in home, school, and community settings as directed by the BCBA team.
Be flexible to work at multiple locations throughout the work day.
Qualifications
High School Diploma
Reliable transportation
Physical ability to bend, kneel, crouch, run, stand rest for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Pass a background check
Preferred
College Graduate
Previous experience with children with developmental disabilities
Experience working with children between ages 1‑8
