Oracle Cloud Solution Architect – Manufacturing
Office: Houston, TX – Onsite 2 days per week – Duration 6+ months
Job Description Provide technical leadership in architecture, design, development, implementation, and quality assurance of Oracle Fusion ERP solutions. Define end‑to‑end solution strategies aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Define, develop, and implement architectural principles and procedures to support the company ERP systems.
Monitor and investigate ERP technology developments that address the needs of the company.
Research and assess ERP system performance; recommend enhancements.
Design new software solutions and enhancements to existing ERP systems to increase capability and performance.
Provide technical consulting, coaching, and training to IT Business Applications teams.
Lead design sessions in prototype new software solutions to enhance processes and operations.
Analyze, identify, and resolve ERP technology infrastructure challenges.
Prepare presentations articulating features and benefits of proposed ERP solutions.
Identify and promote best practices for developing and delivering secure and reliable ERP solutions.
Document ERP system configurations, processes, and setups.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering or equivalent.
15 years of experience in IT systems analysis processes, including enterprise application design and deployment.
10 years of experience designing, testing, and implementing Oracle ERP and/or Oracle Fusion applications.
Minimum of 4 full‑cycle Oracle Fusion implementation projects.
Demonstrated expertise in Oracle Fusion Applications configuration in manufacturing and project‑oriented environments.
Knowledge of Oracle Fusion application platform architecture including VBCS and Redwood.
Experience with multiple modules such as Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Sales, Service, Manufacturing, Inventory, Project Accounting, GL.
Experience designing, testing, and implementing integrations using OIC or similar.
Expertise with application tiers, effective coding practices, and web/application servers.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Availability to travel domestically and internationally ( Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in discrete manufacturing/flow manufacturing and deep understanding of ETO, MTO, MTS, ATO processes.
Proficiency in data modeling, solution design, and system architecture for cloud‑based manufacturing systems.
Understanding of IoT, smart factory integration, and digital twin concepts.
Experience in Oracle Fusion Data and Business Intelligence tools.
Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform components.
Certifications in Fusion Cloud Application Implementation Professional or related.
Experience leading end‑user training, documentation, and adoption support for manufacturing solutions.
