Contract Research Associate/Sr. Research Associate, In‑Vivo Pharmacology (Must Have PO Dosing Experience)

$35‑$55/hour

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated research associate to join our dynamic drug discovery team. This candidate will serve a critical role in executing in vivo pharmacokinetic (PK)/pharmacodynamic (PD)/efficacy studies in mouse tumor models for projects in early discovery to the pre‑IND stage. This individual will also work seamlessly with various biology functions to develop and run PD assays in the lab. This position is ideal for a talented, highly motivated and results driven individual who will thrive in a fast‑paced, innovative, start‑up environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in vivo studies by providing dosing support and executing PK/PD/efficacy studies in mouse tumor models
Maintain high‑quality, detailed experimental records within the ELN
Use organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues across pharmacology and biology
May require occasional weekend oversight of experiments
Professional Experience / Qualifications
BS in Biology or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant laboratory experience in industry
Skilled in animal handling, tumor implant, dosing (PO/IV/SC/IP) and necropsy techniques
Outstanding organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Experienced with pipetting and cell culture
Understanding of molecular biology techniques such as western blotting, qPCR and other plate‑based assays, and desire to learn to perform these assays
Proficiency analyzing data with Excel, Prism and experience using an ELN system
Experience with StudyLog software is a plus
Experience with models of autoimmunity/inflammation is a plus
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining the highest quality of experimental execution/quality
Desire to contribute to teams working on challenging technical and scientific problems
