Position Type: Athletics/Athletic Coach (Part‑time, 2+ hours per day, 6 days per week during the sport season).
Terms and Conditions: Part-time, 2+ hours per day, 6 days per week during the sport season.
Stipend: Per Faculty Senate contract, level 2 stipend, 0.75 FTE – $6,594.08 at entry level.
Reports to: Track Head Coach.
Date Available: January 2026. Closing: Open until filled.
Job Description The Assistant Coach for girls track will work with and take direction from the Head Coach. This is a stipend position during the fall sport season with a time commitment of 2+ hours per day for 6 days per week during the season.
Responsibilities
Assist with coaching and training of girls track athletes.
Follow the direction and instruction of the Head Coach.
Maintain a positive and supportive training environment.
Ensure athletes meet attendance and performance requirements.
Qualifications
Illinois Professional Educators License or ASEP Coaching Certification required.
Knowledge of the sport.
Experience in coaching.
Ability to work 2+ hours per day – 6 days per week throughout the winter and spring sport seasons.
Seniority level Entry level.
