Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
We’re representing a well‑established commercial / institutional construction firm based in Northeast Ohio that’s growing rapidly and investing heavily in its preconstruction capability. They’re seeking a Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating and preconstruction efforts on major projects across commercial, healthcare, education, and institutional markets.
What You’ll Do
Lead full‑scope estimating, cost modeling, and preconstruction strategy for complex bids
Manage budgets, scopes, and value‑engineering with architects, clients, and subcontractors
Oversee buy‑out, subcontractor selection, and estimation‑to‑execution transition
Mentor and build the estimating team; improve processes and tools
Drive alignment between design and construction to deliver accurate GMPs
What You Bring
Proven experience as a senior estimator or precon lead in commercial/institutional construction
Deep understanding of design‑build, CM/GC, negotiated contracts
Advanced skills in cost estimating, value engineering, and scope development
Familiarity with software tools (Procore, Bluebeam, take‑off software, etc.)
Strength in leadership, communication, and collaboration across teams
