Typical Day As a store manager, a typical day includes the following responsibilities:
Impact On Your People
Develop, coach, evaluate, and retain management and associate talent; create sustainable talent strategies that support team and company growth
Recruit, select, and manage diverse associates and leaders
Invest time in continuous training and development opportunities for self and others
Inspire and motivate a team to deliver results through clear and concise feedback and coaching
Create a sense of teamwork, collaboration, and engagement among associates
Impact On Your Business
Drive total store sales and understand your role in sales growth and profitability
Build and lead a guest‑centric culture across the store, using guest survey tools to drive change in key areas
Champion our credit and loyalty programs, ensuring the team informs, educates, and promotes their benefits
Guide operational accuracy, process, and workload efficiency
Execute store merchandising direction and standards, product flow, inventory flexing, and signage for brand consistency
Perform other duties as assigned
What It Takes
Talented in coaching, training, and engaging associates of varying experience levels
Ability to build rapport, trust, and communicate clearly to enhance growth and job performance
Capability to interpret and apply company procedures and policies
Utilize Zebra PDA, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and payroll/scheduling software
Work well independently and within a team environment
Establish goals, guide performance, and hold self and others accountable to high‑performance standards and results
What We Are Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
2–3 years minimum management experience preferred
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Strong problem‑solving skills
Team‑building skills
Availability to work varying hours and schedules, including mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands
Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry at least 20 pounds
Must have full body rotation and mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, reaching)
Must possess reliable transportation
