Primary Job Responsibilities
Primarily generate leads through cold calling efforts
Support other lead generation efforts such as conference attendance, marketing campaigns etc.
Build deep pipeline of future acquisition opportunities
Outbound prospect qualification and company research
Manage and maintain prospect database ensuring accuracy and integrity
Work closely with business development team to progress leads through the deal cycle
Assist in marketing campaigns
Manage outbound mailing program and track response rates
Assist in additional administrative tasks as needed
Be a team player in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development roles.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with business owners.
Self-motivated and target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Results-oriented approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales productivity tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously.
Adaptability and willingness to learn about new industries, products, or services.
Knowledge of market research techniques and industry analysis is a plus
Local to the Chicago, IL area/willing to relocate
Compensation Base salary of $55,000 plus uncapped commission potential with OTE of around $75-85K
