Job Overview Getting paid faster is one of small business owners’ most critical problems. Cash flow challenges are cited as a cause for 82% of small business failures. This remains an unsolved problem despite rapid innovation in fintech. There has never been a better time to innovate and make significant progress in solving systemic issues in small business cash management. Almost half of small business owners (47%) have started accepting payments in new ways since the start of the pandemic.

We are looking for a Principal Commercial Leader to support this mission and drive growth in our Money In business. The position requires strong strategic problem‑solving and communication skills, the ability to influence and develop productive partnerships at all levels of the organization, and a strong understanding of Intuit’s mission and values. The role reports to the Director of Commercial for QuickBooks Payments and works closely with cross‑functional teams including Product, Marketing, Data Analytics, Finance, Partnerships, and Business Development to solve our customers’ problems and accelerate growth.

Responsibilities

Drive growth and profitability of the payments business in partnership with key cross‑functional teams such as Marketing, Product, Risk, Engineering, and Finance.

Partner with Marketing and Finance to deliver net new monetization and pricing strategies to scale revenue growth.

Partner with the Business Development team to identify co‑innovation opportunities with third parties that will unlock net new distribution channels.

Uncover opportunities: Dive deep to uncover commercial opportunities to accelerate growth for the QB Payments business.

Net new monetization strategy: Identify new disruptive pricing opportunities and drive monetization strategies to unlock revenue growth.

Stakeholder communication: Serve as the conduit between the Payments business and other GBSG & Intuit businesses, ensuring alignment on priorities, progress, and challenges.

Team mentorship: Mentor and develop a high‑performing cross‑functional team, instilling a culture of analytic rigor across the Money In organization.

Compensation Mountain View, CA Base pay range: $191 000 – $258 500. Pay offered is based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
