Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional and regulatory standards.
Oversee and manage all general ledger activities.
Review and analyze revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and balance sheets.
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to accelerate close and reporting timelines, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy.
Work closely with other team members to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. An advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is highly desirable.
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Proficiency in preparing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), healthcare accounting standards, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in using advanced features of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
